Key Provincial Updates and Resources for Health Professionals
Today the Ontario government released new safety guidelines to protect workers, customers and the general public from
COVID-19 as it prepares for a gradual reopening of the provincial economy.
The government also issued a new memo regarding transfers from hospitals and the community to long-term care homes.

Key Federal Updates Federal parties continued to debate the legislation for support
for students today. Government confirmed students will be required to confirm that they're looking for summer work to receive the benefits.
Today the Parliamentary Budget Officer stated that the federal deficit for the year will hit $252.1 billion as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Daily Reports
As of 10:30AM today, Ontario reported 16,187confirmed cases (increase of 459), 10,205 resolved cases, 1,082 deaths and 11,859 currently under investigation with lab results pending.
The Ministry is also reporting that 999 patients are hospitalized with COVID-19, 233 are in ICU and 181 are vented.
