Important updates on Ontario's response to COVID-19
Member Update:
COVID-19 Situation
Dear ,

Thank you so much to the many nurses who tuned in to our Facebook Live Q&A session yesterday. In case you missed it, you can still watch it here. Given the tremendous response we received to yesterday's event, we will be hosting another Facebook Live event next Tuesday April 7th at 8pm.

We appreciated you taking the time to join us, ask questions and share your stories. Hearing about your experiences on the frontlines helps us better advocate on your behalf.

In fact, we've heard from a number of RPNs expressing concerns about a new Ministry Directive applying only to ONA members. We share those concerns and have written to the government to urging them to make changes to ensure that all nurses in hospitals have access to appropriate PPE.

We know we didn't get to all the questions yesterday so we are currently working on developing a document that responds to the questions you shared and will circulate that in the coming days.

Urgent Jobs During COVID-19
We continue to receive information from organizations seeking to hire more nurses to support the COVID-19 response. A new posting is available on the COVID-19 Staff Needed section .

We have also learned about new recruitment being done by Health Force Ontario, please consider signing up if you're looking for a role.

If you know any employers who are looking for RPNs, please direct them to our website where they can sharing postings.
