Key Provincial Updates and Resources for Health Professionals
Today, Premier Doug Ford and fellow Premiers renewed calls for the federal government to increase its share of funding for provincial and territorial health care to 35 per cent.
Yesterday, Minister of Labour, Training and Skills Development, Monte McNaughton, provided an update on the province’s ongoing workplace inspection blitz, which is aimed at ensuring compliance with COVID-19 public health measures.
The government also announced a one-time investment of up to $27 million to maintain operations at six of Ontario’s most popular tourist destinations. Funding will protect jobs and ensure the financial stability of these institutions by supporting with operational, maintenance, and capital needs.

287,424 resolved cases, 7,024 deaths.
The Ministry is also reporting that 649 patients are hospitalized with COVID-19, 281 are in ICU and 183 are vented. To view
