Key Provincial Updates and Resources for Health Professionals Over the weekend, the Ontario government, after consultation with the Chief Medical Officer of Health, extended all emergency orders currently in force under s.7.0.2 (4) of the Emergency Management and Civil Protection Act until June 19, 2020.
Today the province announced that the government will be moving forward with a
regional approach to Stage 2 of reopening the province. The public health unit regions allowed to move into Stage 2 on Friday, June 12 at 12:01 a.m. include:

In addition, the province will increase the limit on social gatherings from five to 10 people across the province, regardless of whether a region has moved to Stage 2 effective Friday June 12 at 12:01am. Additionally, all places of worship in Ontario will also be permitted to open with physical distancing in place and attendance limited to no more than 30 per cent of the building capacity to ensure the safety of worshippers.

As of 10:30AM today, Ontario reported 30,860confirmed cases (increase of 243), 24,492 resolved cases, 2,450 deaths and 4,811 currently
under investigation with lab results pending.
The Ministry is also reporting that 603 patients are hospitalized with COVID-19, 118 are in ICU and 81 are vented.
